While golf carts are not allowed to ride on the beach or Palmetto Boulevard, there are many roads and streets to explore! Also, rented golf carts may not be driven to or stored on properties inside the main entrance of the Wyndham Resort.
Golf carts are only available to rent inside Edisto Beach town limits.

As of March 28, 2023 Electric golf carts are not allowed to be stored at the Retreat on 126 Jungle Rd per their HOAJEREMY CAY/COWPENS:
As of April 1, 2022 we will no longer service any addresses off of Edisto Beach, including Jeremy Cay and surrounding areas.STATE PARK GUESTS:
Live Oak campground is not accessible by golf cart. You can not exit Live Oak with a golf cart to go to the beach or Edisto Beach town limits. There is 1/2 mile of highway separating Live Oak from Edisto Beach. The State park charges $5 per day for a golf cart permit. This charge is not associated with Edisto Bike Rentals. Please contact the Edisto Beach State Park for questions. Only those who carry a valid handicap permit are allowed to take golf carts onto the physical beach.BAY CREEK VILLAS GUESTS:
Golf carts are not allowed to park in the Bay Creek parking lot. There is no charging areas for electric carts on premises.!!!! DO NOT TOW CART!!!
